This interactive workshop will discuss the bridge design quality control and quality assurance process, including the differences between QC and QA, defining common terminology, establishing the duties of the roles involved, and discussion of the requirements and expectations throughout the process.
We’ll discuss the benefits of QC/QA, as well as common obstacles to establishing and executing a robust QC/QA program and how to overcome those challenges.
This session will have lots of interaction through Mentimeter (anonymous) and Zoom chat (you won’t need to use microphones/webcams to participate).
Intended audience: bridge design engineers, technicians, EITs, project managers, anyone involved in bridge projects
