Intended Audience: wastewater operators

This 2-day virtual class will meet from 11:00am-1:30pm (ET) on both Thursday, February 27th and Friday, February 28th. 

It will cover wastewater process control mathematics and operation principles for activated sludge plants, fixed film treatment processes, and lagoon systems.

Learning goals include:
> Calculate FM ratios, MCRT, organic loading, and retention times.
> Analyze activated sludge, fixed film, and lagoon performance.
> Calculate concentrations and pounds of BOD and TSS in wastewater flows.
> Explore secondary wastewater treatment types and processes.

The registration deadline for this online event is February 26th.

This training has been approved for 2 CECs by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ).

This class has been approved by Michigan EGLE for 0.4 Technical CECs.
