You'll learn how concrete is made, how it is placed, as well as how you can get the most out of it for your pavement projects.\n\nConcrete Pavement: Field and Lab Testing Explained \nWednesday, May 21, 2025 \n12:00pm-1:00pm (ET)\n The Michigan Concrete Association will discuss the field and lab testing methods used during concrete pavement projects. You will learn about different test methods, what kinds of information each test provides and what that information can tell you about your concrete. You'll learn the purpose of different tests as well as some of the challenges that an inspector may face when field testing concrete. The difference between field and laboratory testing will be explained as well as the importance of both kinds of testing.\n\nConstruction Inspection for Concrete Pavements\n Wednesday, May 28, 2025\n12:00pm-1:00pm (ET)\nThe Michigan Concrete Association will discuss the importance of concrete pavement inspection as well as the key things to be on the lookout for including site conditions, subgrade and subbase preparations, understanding the mix design, and critical factors to observe during concrete placement.
