Event Details

We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond their control the FHWA Resource Center will not be able to provide their workshop on Structural Design with Ultra-High Performance Concrete during Day 2 of Bridge Week, Wednesday, March 19.

We will replace their content with two half-day workshops. Dr. Sherif El-Tawil, U of M, will deliver a workshop on UHPC covering material properties, qualification and acceptance, structural behavior and design, as well as applications of UHPC technology. MDOT Bureau of Bridges and Structures, Structure Construction Group will provide a presentation on Bridge Rehabilitation specifications, best practices, and dos/don’ts.

Accommodations
There are a limited number of room available at a reduced rate of $149/night plus tax. Reservations can be made online or by calling 888-236-2427 and saying your attending 2025 MI Bridge Week. Room block rates expire on March 3, 2025.
