DESCRIPTION: We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond their control the FHWA Resource Center will not be able to provide their workshop on Structural Design with Ultra-High Performance Concrete during Day 2 of Bridge Week, Wednesday, March 19.\nWe will replace their content with two half-day workshops. Dr. Sherif El-Tawil, U of M, will deliver a workshop on UHPC covering material properties, qualification and acceptance, structural behavior and design, as well as applications of UHPC technology. MDOT Bureau of Bridges and Structures, Structure Construction Group will provide a presentation on Bridge Rehabilitation specifications, best practices, and dos/don’ts. \n\n Early Bird Registration: $120/person – In-Person or Virtual\nEarly Bird Registration Deadline: Exenteded until March 13, 2025 for Day 2 only - After March 9th, pease email register\nRegistration After Deadline: $144/person – In-Person or Virtual \n\nAccommodations\nThere are a limited number of room available at a reduced rate of $149/night plus tax.
